Simple Product
If enabled on WC Contour->General->Enable products compatibility (by default enabled) you will see on admin product page new metabox called ‘Product Compatibility’:
After enabling Compatibility:
1 – If the product is variable, and product variations have their own compatibility blocks, or if you want product variations to have the same compatibility blocks, then enable this option.
2 – OR | AND operators. Works between selected compatibility rows (Taxonomies, Meta fields, Products).
1. OR: Think of OR as a way to expand your results. When you use OR in a query, you’re saying you want results that meet at least one of your criteria. It’s like saying, “I want a pizza with either pepperoni OR mushrooms.” You’ll get pizzas with either pepperoni, mushrooms, or both.
2. AND: On the other hand, AND is used to narrow down your results. When you use AND in a query, you’re specifying that you want results that meet all of your criteria. Imagine you’re shopping for clothes online, and you select “color: blue AND size: medium.” You’ll only see clothes that are both blue and medium-sized.
So, in a query, OR makes it more inclusive, while AND makes it more exclusive. You can use these operations to fine-tune your search and get the results that best match your needs.
3 – Strict taxonomy/products. If enabled, this product will be strictly compatible only with products selected in compatibility rows (Taxonomies, Meta fields, Products) even if products to which it compare don’t have same taxonomy. So if your builder have many positions, it may be inconvenient to add all of them for compatibility purposes. By default: Disabled
Product Taxonomies include Product Categories, Product Tags, Custom Product Taxonomies, and all Product Attributes
4 – Strict term compatibility. Works in same direction as point 3, but not on taxonomy level, but term level.
